WordBridge Publishing was originally established in 1991 under the name “Finishing Touch Document Preparation Services.” This firm provided for the editing of documents and their preparation for publication. In time, translation services were added, primarily Dutch to English. The focus of translation efforts was in the area of business and finance. Activities were conducted for the benefit of third parties.

Around 1998, the name was changed to WordBridge Publishing to indicate a shift in approach away from third parties towards direct publishing on an in-house basis.

WordBridge Publishing now focuses on translation and publication, both in-house and for third parties. Publication focuses on books, while translations are available for a broader range of material.
